Each printer is manufactured uniquely and the process to change printer ink cartridge varies from printer to printer but the basic method is same. You can do it by reading the user manual provided with your printer.
The ink cartridge should be the original for your make of printer. The refilled cartridge should be compatible.
Put the printer on power and press the button for cartridge changing or lift the lid.
Once the cartridge carrier slides out, remove the old cartridge from the printer. In some printers, the cartridge will come out automatically when you raise the lid of cartridge holder.
Take off the tape from the ink opening.
Now replace the new cartridge in the same manner and slot as the older one.
Check whether the cartridge has fit properly or not. A click sound will emerge to indicate that it has been put properly.
Print one or two pages for smooth functioning of the printer cartridge.
