Basics of inkjet printers

The printers are mainly of two types- inkjet and laser. The inkjet printers are more common for daily use in smaller quantity like home use. The inkjet printers are of low cost, excellent quality and ease of use.
The inkjet printer can print in black as well as in different colors. There are three colors ink in the color cartridge. The four colors when combined can give any color. The head of the inkjet contains nozzles which are very thin and they give out small dots. These dots are place very close to each other thus give a sharp image.
The printing occurs when the print heads are positioned by the stepper motor. The printer head slides and dots are created. The inkjet printers use two methods:
Thermal bubble printer that uses electric current through resistors to produce heat which vaporizes the ink and dots are produced.
The Piezo electric printer uses piezo crystals to vibrate the ink. The vibration causes ink to come out form the dots.
