Though Novothink were unable to launch the touch charging case in November 2009 as promised, it has certainly rolled out its Solar Surge touch charging cases in March 2010. The charging cases can charge both iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS versions. It is also compatible with iPod touch version. The charger for iPhone and iPod are priced at $79.95 and $69.95 respectively. The colors available are white and black only. More shades are to be launched soon.

The touch charger can charge up the iPhone and iPods while one is running, walking or biking. The slim design of the case makes the item light yet durable. The case gives a cent percent accessibility to touch screen. It has a calm design with a non-slip finishing that provides a firm grip. The energy used is eco friendly and renewable, i.e. solar energy. The case has speaker ports to prevent diminishing of sound. The suitable cut out in the case allows the user attach a trinket or wrist strap.
